F-150 P2111/P2112: why the 2015 and 2016 repair branches differ
Ford’s historical 16B32 action distinguished PCM programming from throttle-body replacement.
Check the vehicle first.

What the program described
Contaminated throttle-motor contacts could increase resistance, set P2111/P2112 and cause limited-power operation at a fixed engine speed. This is not proof that every truck displaying either code has that defect.
The repair table did not treat both years alike
| Verified application | Historical 16B32 direction |
|---|---|
| Affected 2015 F-150 | PCM programming. |
| Affected 2016 F-150 | Electronic throttle-body replacement. |
| Faults after programming | Normal service diagnosis. |
Check the earlier repair before repeating it
Editorial review: ask for the VIN campaign history and the operation actually completed. “Throttle recall done” is too vague to tell you whether software or hardware was addressed. If symptoms have returned, compare the current fault record with that earlier work. Do not assume an old program instruction proves that the same operation is now the correct repair.
What this document cannot promise
The reviewed customer-satisfaction program expired September 30, 2017. It does not establish current free-repair eligibility. Current diagnosis and coverage need a Ford VIN check.
Describe reduced power precisely
Tell the service adviser whether accelerator response changed, whether the truck was moving or idling and which warnings appeared. If power loss makes it unsafe to continue, stop somewhere safe and arrange assistance; do not reproduce it in traffic. Request the measured reason for any replacement, the installed software identification if updated and the technician’s verification result. These are editorial safety and handover recommendations, not a new Ford diagnostic procedure.
